Band

The Hewitt-Trussville Middle School Band program is under the direction of Brandon Peters, Corinth Lewis, and Shannon Moore. The band program provides students with a strong musical foundation and a supportive environment to grow as young musicians. Open to students in all grade levels, the program emphasizes both individual skill development and ensemble performance.

Under the leadership of dedicated band directors, students learn to play a variety of instruments, read music, and perform with confidence. The curriculum includes beginning band for first-time band students, concert band, symphonic band, and honors band. Students perform throughout the year in concerts. 

The HTMS Band program fosters teamwork, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music. With a tradition of excellence and a commitment to student growth, the band plays an important role in the life of the school and the broader Trussville community.
