The art program at Hewitt-Trussville Middle School, led by Ms. Meriam, offers students a dynamic and creative space to explore their artistic talents. Through a variety of media, students build foundational art skills while also learning to express themselves creatively and think critically.

Ms. Meriam designs her curriculum to encourage experimentation, problem-solving, and personal expression. Students study famous artists, art history, and cultural influences while also participating in hands-on projects that reflect their own ideas and interests. The program emphasizes both skill development and the creative process, allowing each student to grow as an artist in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Throughout the year, student artwork is showcased in school displays and local exhibitions, celebrating the creativity and hard work of our young artists.
